Creating site-specific health and safety management plans

Whether or not your company is required by law to create a site-specific health and safety management plan, it is nonetheless often good practice to do so.

The Australian College of Mining has experienced staff in health, safety, training, engineering and law who are able to assist you to facilitate the creation of a site-specific health and safety management plan.

What we do:

(1)  perform a worksite audit to assess the scope of works conducted on the site;
(2)  facilitate site-specific safe work method statements through the process of risk assessment;
(3)  facilitate the creation of site-specific policies and procedures covering such things as emergency evacuation, smoking, safe storage, and routine auditing;
(4)  assess the scope of chemicals used or brought onto the site and create a register of chemicals which includes Material Safety Data Sheets;
(5)  list the site responsible persons including site first aiders;
(6)  organize the plan to be professionally bound and laminated for durability;
(7)  facilitate the review of the plan where desired.
